Hindus regard Toli Ekadasi as a scared day
especially for the farmers. This festival is something similar to the 'Eruvaka'
Festival, which is celebrated by the farmers. On this day farmers perform
'pooja' to the agricultural implements. |
|
As it considered sacred by farmers new people
join farming on this day. People fast on this day and at the break of dawn they
offer prayers and break the fast by eating fruits. |
