There are four
main types of relations between two planets:
1) UTTAM(Superior):
The relation between the two planets is superior if each of the two planets is
placed in other’s house respectively.
2) POORNA-DRISHTI(Medium):
The relation between the two planets is medium if each of them is looking at the
other with full sight.
3) ARDH-DRISHTI(Mediocre): The third type
of relation exists when a planet is placed in another planet’s house and one of
the planet looks at the other planet full-sightedly, but the second planet does
not look at that planet.
4) ADHAMA(Inferior): If the two planets
are sitting in the same zodiac, the relation between them is inferior.
5) TRIKONA(Triangular): If a planet is placed in the fifth house
from the first one, the two planets are said to occupy a triangular position.
This particular relationship has been identified as the fifth type.
