Unnatasha Yantra |
The yantra consists of huge
graduated brass circle 17 feet in diameter, hung vertically from masonry supports. A brass
pointer is fitted with sights and pivoted to the center of circle by which, altitude
observations are made. The whole brass circle can be revolved about its vertical diameter;
so that altitude observations could be taken of any object, at any time .
